So I just found your board because on mintboard people were posting some youtube videos of chud memes on youtube and one of the youtube channels linked to here.

I want to help support the cause I have an extreme amount of esoteric and philosophy knowledge but I need some kind of video editing program maybe then I can make soyjack memes where the principles of mentalism are explained by these characters lol.

/g/ posters really are something else, imagine going to the lengths of scouring some photo from some whore on a dating site, using it to create a fake profile on reddit and then try to pass as a woman thinking that their every day lives could turn a female on the slightest.

where's the problem in scaling this up and making it power a human sized boat? it would be really nice for comfy cruising across small distances using only sticks gathered from nearby trees as fuel

 1466

Difficult to throttle, start, and stop in a controlled fashion. Probably also scales poorly. Would be awesome to have an old 19th century riverboat steamer though

I can install arch and rice things and write basic bash but not much more. How do I learn how the filesystem boots? I tried reading arch wiki but I have 30 tabs open just from one topic.

 1587

Read a book about it and make anki cards if you're retarded

 1589

>>1587
What book? I already read The Linux Command Line a Complete Introduction. Would Unix Philosophy help?

 1636

>How do I learn how the filesystem boots?
Most linux systems are booted by mounting a small system called an initramfs. What the initramfs is responsible for is various things loading kernel modules and unencrypting encrypted partitions if they exist.
