Can you believe what a broken, incomplete, pathetic joke troonix is? Imagine some tranny telling you your program is not allowed to have multiple windows because of security reasons. The most basic bare-bones gui functionality, things apple managed figure out literally 50 fucking years ago, troonix users are STILL bickering over today lmao. And don't give me your classic cope about just using xorg. Because we all know you won't be able to maintain it or ever have your patches be accepted without red hat's blessing.

Any maths Chud can help me out

Hey guys, I'm a total fucking tard over here, and I don't know 'jack shit about maths. Any math chuddies willing to solve this little problem I made for you?

So there's a magical luck machine. It rolls a die that you can't see. The die has at least two sides(like a coin flip), and you don't know for sure how many it has. Exactly one side always is guaranteed to contain the number one, the rest will always have the number 2. For instance, if you get the number 2, it doesn't mean there are only two sides, there could be as few as two, and as many as… well, infinity. But if it lands on 1, you win.

If it has only two sides(I assume it would be a coin), the chanses are 50%.
If there are three sides(idk how this would look like, maybe hypothetically), it must be 33.(3)%.
And so on and so forth.

So far you've tried it once, and it didn't land on one. So it's at most 50%.
You try it twice. It still lands on 2. Mabe you got unlucky at the coin flip.
You try it ten times. It still doesn't land on a 1. Now, it's possible, but improbable, at this point, that it still has at most 2 sides, because the probability is so low, so as a maths noob I assume that it would be around 0.01% chance for that to happen.
You try it a hundred times, and still no 1. It's all but clear by now that it has more than 2 sides, because the chance of a coin flipping the same way for 100 flips must be abysmally low.

So, is there a way to estimate the how many sides the die has? To estimate the probability that it has 2 sides? Or 3? Or 4? After 100 tries, what is the most likely minimum amount of sides? I mean, probably 100, but 99 is also very plausible, but as it goes lower and lower, it becomes less plausible. Obviously, it could have 101 sides too, but it could have a billion too. But let's ignore these larger numbers. I don't know how to put this into words because I'm a brainlet.

Is there a math equation for this?

Now you may be wondering what the practical application of my question would be. Well, I've heard a woman say that so what if she's been with 100 dudes, it's not improbable at all that the hundred and first guy will be the lucky one, and she'll be with him forever and ever there won't be any more afterwards. Of course, this could be that her environment tampered with the "dice roll" so it wouldn't be random, like maybe her evil sister plotted against all her past 100 relationships, like a man in the machine always placing the coin manually so it would land on a 2. But let's just assume that it was truly random chance by which she met those 100 exes. How do I – mathematically – prove her wrong on her belief that it's not improbable that her 101'st guy will be her last?

!!!OMG SOY MARIO!!!

Since 2018, the date of creation of the soyjak meme, there was no soyjak game...

...until now!

You can play it on your browser for FREE!!!!!!

>>> https://modest-fermi-a8a672.netlify.app/ <<<

Move with left and right arrows and jump with up arrow and start your adventure in this slow burn, bone chilling, atmosphere-oozing, genre-redefining, gut-wrenching, spine-tingling, emotionally taxing, paranoia-inducing, jaw-clenching, nerve-wracking, character-development driven, soul-shaking, nail-biting, anxiety-written, kafkaesque, post-lynchian, question-asking, socially-aware, politically-cognisant, culturally relevant, socially-prescient, thought-provoking, artisanally-crafted platformerino game.

The fact that it is a platformer game is such a tribute to soyjak and soy boy as an archetype of human who keeps special place in his heart for games like mario.

/DOOM/ Backup/'chive thread

Pray to god the catty isn't wiped again edition.

ok listen up, i have a rather ambitious plan, what if we made our own doom WAD? we could replace the sprites of the enemies, make new levels and add more guns

does anyone here have expierience in modding doom? if so, we will discuss the creation of this WAD

Doom modding guide for retarded chuds
First off, get doom 2. https://archive.org/details/2020_03_22_DOOM
Secondly, get gzdoom, SLADE and doombuilder.
https://zdoom.org/downloads
https://slade.mancubus.net/index.php?page=downloads
https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=66745

Gzdoom will be used because it's more powerful than regular doom and doesn't limit you to shitty doom file formats. SLADE is a file editor and Doombuilder is map creator.

Don't use .WAD, .PK3 archives are much better as they allow for file structures and some custom code stuff.
USE .PK3
https://zdoom.org/wiki/Using_ZIPs_as_WAD_replacement

Here is a basic guide to modding doom as well as getting high resolution textures working

ProjectGOD general

I only see codetroon posts here and I was wondering if any of you guys have any control-theory/electronics/mechanical projects?

For me whole thing rn is thrust vector control rocketry. To do this I design all of the hardware to swivel the rocket motor, and I wrote all of the flight software and designed/soldered the boards that run everything, over 2 years of work. And I got it to work perfectly first flight.

rn i'm trying to that with a propulsive landing. I don't think im gonna post it rn because I don't want to be a namefag, but if you want to get a idea of what the type of stuff I'm working on go check out bps space https://youtu.be/SH3lR2GLgT0?feature=shared

“Intersex” Does not Violate the Sex Binary

Found this paper

>This article supplements Julio Tuleda, Enrique Burguete, and Justo Aznar's “The Vatican opinion on gender theory” (Linacre). It supplements their article by providing a stronger argument for the thesis that “intersex” does not violate binary sex in human beings. In their response to Timothy F. Murphy's criticism of “the Vatican's” (rightfully corrected as the Magisterium of the Catholic Church's) position on the sex binary, they argue subsidiarily that “intersex” does not violate the sex binary. However, their argument against Murphy as stated is implausible; however, I provide a much stronger argument for their conclusion that intersex does not violate the sex binary. I intend to perform this supplementation in two stages, assuming the reader's familiarity with “The Vatican opinion on gender theory.” First, I provide a broader background than Murphy's to the challenge that “intersex” conditions violate the sex binary, showing both how Murphy's criticism is unoriginal and how “intersex” both has been, and continues to be, misunderstood. Second, I problematize Tuleda’s argument, and offer the strongest argument for the conclusion that “intersex” does not violate the sex binary on purely secular/nonreligious grounds (addressing Murphy's complaint). I conclude that the Magisterium of the Catholic Church remains correct that sex is binary.

This thread is made to easily compile most of the information we know about 4chan and how it operates.
it will focus in 4 parts so you can easily read them,be warned english is not my mother tongue and i accidentaly make mistakes by such as overusing words like "unironically" or "though" or other words aswell as simple grammatical mistakes.
im also not used to making these kinds of threads with a lot of words, so please forgive me if it comes out weird to read or riddled with errors and mistakes.
this is only a warning to how im most likely going to speak the thread itself so you CAN skip over to the actual contents of the thread.

LinuxTroons Can't

It's just a fact, sorry: LinuxTroons will never have a graphical environment that can beat what Apple created in 2002. Mac OS X Tiger is a true UNIX* system that is free of GNU malware (let's be honest, that's what GNU is). It is also free of Linux spyware (package managers). I can run great software like Adobe (R) Photoshop (R), Macromedia (R) Flash (TM), and Microsoft (R) Word (TM). This is software that Lintroons can't run (they cope by calling it "proprietary malware" when really the malware is all the so called "free software" that eats up your time with crashes, bugs, and incompatibilities with industry standards like Microsoft OfficeOpen XML). Why anyone who is a straight, white, male (such as myself) would use an transgender infested operating system such as Linux (or GNU Hurd) is beyond me.

Wayland won

>but muh X, it's… le better
Have you ever read the Wayland protocols and compared them to X.org? it's clear that X is a bloated, ancient piece of shit and Wayland fixes everything about it.
>don't care, i'm still going to use X11 like a selfish little fuck!
It's deprecated, and support will eventually be removed from all major distros. Wayland is taking over, and becoming the default on GNOME, KDE, and XFCE, whether you like it or not.

Take the waypill.

Andrew Tate and Richard Stallman were two men with very different backgrounds and personalities, but they shared a common goal: to force people to use GNU/Linux, the free operating system that respects users’ freedom. They believed that GNU/Linux was superior to all other operating systems, which they considered to be oppressive, restrictive, and inferior.

Tate was a former kickboxer and a controversial influencer, who had millions of followers on social media. He was known for his misogynistic views, his luxurious lifestyle, and his provocative opinions. He had been banned from several platforms for violating their terms of service, but he always found a way to come back. He used his fame and wealth to promote GNU/Linux and to criticize its competitors, such as Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.

Stallman was a programmer and an activist, who had founded the GNU Project and the Free Software Foundation. He was known for his advocacy of free software, his technical skills, and his eccentric habits. He had developed many pieces of GNU software, such as GNU Emacs, GNU Compiler Collection, and GNU General Public License. He used his knowledge and experience to develop GNU/Linux and to educate people about its benefits.

The two men met online, when Tate contacted Stallman to express his admiration for his work. They soon became friends and allies, and decided to join forces to spread GNU/Linux around the world. They devised a plan to hack into the servers of major software companies, such as Microsoft and Apple, and replace their operating systems with GNU/Linux. They also planned to hack into the devices of millions of users, such as computers, smartphones, and tablets, and install GNU/Linux on them.

They executed their plan on April 1st, 2023, which they called the “GNU Day”. They used their skills and resources to infiltrate the networks of their targets, and launched a massive cyberattack that affected billions of devices. They erased all traces of the original operating systems, and replaced them with GNU/Linux. They also left a message on every device’s screen, saying:

“Congratulations! You have been liberated from your oppressive operating system. You are now using GNU/Linux, the free operating system that respects your freedom. You can now enjoy the benefits of free software, such as security, stability, performance, customization, and community support. You can also modify and distribute GNU/Linux as you wish, as long as you respect the terms of the GNU General Public License. To learn more about GNU/Linux and free software, please visit the GNU website or [the Free Software Foundation website]. Happy GNU Day!”

The cyberattack caused chaos and confusion around the world. Many people were angry and frustrated by the sudden change of their operating systems. They complained that they had lost their data, their applications, their settings, and their preferences. They also complained that they did not know how to use GNU/Linux, which was unfamiliar and complicated for them. They demanded that the hackers be caught and punished, and that their original operating systems be restored.

However, some people were curious and intrigued by the new operating system. They explored its features and functions, and discovered that it was actually better than their previous ones. They appreciated its freedom, its quality, its diversity, and its community. They thanked the hackers for opening their eyes to a new world of possibilities.

Tate and Stallman were proud of their achievement. They believed that they had done a great service to humanity by freeing them from the tyranny of proprietary software. They hoped that their action would inspire more people to join the free software movement, and to contribute to the development of GNU/Linux. They also hoped that their action would make people more aware of the importance of digital rights and privacy.

They celebrated their success by posting a video on social media, in which they revealed their identities and explained their motives. They said:

"Hello world! We are Andrew Tate and Richard Stallman, the masterminds behind the GNU Day. We are here to tell you why we did what we did. We did it because we love you. We love you so much that we wanted to give you the best gift ever: freedom. Freedom from software that spies on you, controls you, exploits you, harms you, limits you, or deceives you. Freedom to use software that respects you, empowers you, protects you, helps you, improves you, or delights you.

We did it because we believe in free software. Free software is software that gives you four essential freedoms: the freedom to run it as you wish; the freedom to study how it works; the freedom to share it with others; and the freedom to change it as you wish. These freedoms are crucial for your dignity as a human being.

We did it because we love GNU/Linux. GNU/Linux is an operating system that is entirely free software. It is the result of decades of collaboration and innovation by thousands of programmers and activists around the world. It is a powerful, reliable, flexible, and beautiful system that can run on any device. It is the system that we use, and the system that we want you to use.

We did it because we hate proprietary software. Proprietary software is software that denies you the four essential freedoms. It is the opposite of free software. It is software that treats you as a product, a slave, a victim, or an enemy. It is software that violates your rights, your privacy, your security, your interests, or your values. It is software that you should not use.

We did it because we want to change the world. We want to create a world where everyone can enjoy the benefits of free software. We want to create a world where everyone can participate in the development of free software. We want to create a world where everyone can respect and support each other through free software.

We did it because we are GNUisances. We are not afraid to challenge the status quo, to defy the authorities, to disrupt the system, or to annoy the enemies. We are not afraid to make noise, to make waves, to make history, or to make fun. We are not afraid to be ourselves, to be different, to be free, or to be GNU.

We hope that you understand our reasons, and that you share our vision. We hope that you will join us in our mission, and that you will become GNUisances too. We hope that you will love GNU/Linux as much as we do, and that you will spread it to others.

Thank you for your attention, and happy GNU Day!"

A Personal Postscript

dkg wrote a blog post about this. He sums up my feelings pretty well, so I'm going to quote him liberally with only a trivial correction.

> I've spent a significant amount of time over the years trying to push the ecosystem into a more responsible posture with respect to OpenPGP certificates, and have clearly not been as successful at it or as fast as I wanted to be. Complex ecosystems can take time to move.

> To have my own certificate directly spammed in this way felt surprisingly personal, as though someone was trying to attack or punish me, specifically. I can't know whether that's actually the case, of course, nor do I really want to. And the fact that Robert J. Hansen's certificate was also spammed makes me feel a little less like a singular or unique target, but I also don't feel particularly proud of feeling relieved that someone else is also being "punished" in addition to me.

> But this report wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention that I've felt disheartened and demotivated by this situation. I'm a stubborn person, and I'm trying to make the best of the situation by being constructive about at least documenting the places that are most severely broken by this. But I've also found myself tempted to walk away from this ecosystem entirely because of this incident. I don't want to be too dramatic about this, but whoever did this basically experimented on me (and Rob) directly, and it's a pretty shitty thing to do.

> If you're reading this, and you set this off, and you selected me specifically because of my role in the OpenPGP ecosystem, or because I wrote the abuse-resistant-keystore draft, or because I'm part of the Autocrypt project, then you should know that I care about making this stuff work for people. If you'd reached out to me to describe what you were planning to do, we could have done all of the above bug reporting and triage using demonstration certificates, and worked on it together. I would have happily helped. I still might! But because of the way this was done, I'm not feeling particularly happy right now. I hope that someone is, somewhere.

To which I'd like to add: I have never in my adult life wished violence on any human being. I have witnessed too much of it and its barbaric effects, stood by the graves of too many people cut down too young. I do not hate you and I do not wish any harm to befall you.

But if you get hit by a bus while crossing the street, I'll tell the driver everyone deserves a mulligan once in a while.

You fool. You absolute, unmitigated, unadulterated, complete and utter, fool.

Peace to everyone — including you, you son of a bitch.

— Rob

gaming brimstone issue -- cannot go to sleep

How do I fix this sleep issue on Windows? Every time I close the gaming laptop lid I have to force boot it off. The laptop must be essentially shut down every time I have to stop using it, which defeats the whole purpose of laptops that being portability.

From my time with Linux, the issue is simply nonexistent. But back on topic, I've had this laptop for more than 4 years now, and the issue only started being more rampant 2.5 years ago or so. If any 'teens have had this issue please make it make sense for me.

FOSS Bro: Hey there! So, I was thinking we could enjoy some delicious Italian cuisine tonight, but before we dive into this pasta, let me tell you about something pretty awesome – GNU Guix.

Date: Oh, GNU Guix? Tell me more!

FOSS Bro: Absolutely! GNU Guix is like the Swiss Army knife of package management and system configuration. It's all about freedom and control over your computer. With Guix, you can declare how your entire system should be configured using these simple and elegant configuration files. It's like having your own personal Linux distro, tailored just for you!

Date: That sounds interesting! But how is it different from other package managers?

FOSS Bro: Great question! Guix follows the principles of functional package management, which means that packages are isolated, reproducible, and don't interfere with each other. Plus, it's all about free software – every package in Guix is open source. And you can even roll back your system to any previous configuration if something goes wrong. It's like having a time machine for your computer!

Date: Wow, that's impressive! What do you love most about Guix?

FOSS Bro: Well, I love that it's not just about installing packages. It's about freedom and transparency. You can actually inspect the source code of every package and verify its authenticity. Plus, it's super easy to contribute to the Guix project and make it better for everyone.

Date: That's really cool! Thanks for sharing that with me. Now, let's dig into this amazing Italian food! 😊

FOSS Bro: Absolutely! Let's enjoy the meal and keep the conversation going. 😄

For while now my headphones have picked up some sort of phone call? i really cant tell but its this terrible quality guy talking and i am almost certain its the same guy because he sounds the same, having what i can only sort of make out as a conversation with somebody over the phone. the quality is so shit i can barely make out anything he says. tried recording on OBS and it didnt pick anything up, tried audacity and the talking stopped before i could record it.

BBC/DISTROTUBE HERE

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Distrotube, is in fact, BBC/Distrotube, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, BBC plus Distrotube. Distrotube is not a real entity unto itself, but rather another sissy component of a fully functioning BBC gangbang made useful by the BBC cocks, cum utilities and vital system components comprising a full gangbang as defined by Israel. Many faggot 4chan users fap to a modified version of the BBC system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of BBC porn which is widely used today is often called “Distrotube”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically a BBC gay gangbang, developed by Mental Outlaw. There really is a Distrotube, and niggers are fucking it, but it is just a part of the gangbang white boys they use. Distrotube is the sissy white slut: the faggot in the system that allocates the cocks resources to the other holes that you cum into. The faggot is an essential part of a BBC gangbang, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete BBC gangbang. Distrotube is normally used in combination with the BBC gangbang system: the whole system is basically BBC with Distrotube added, or BBC/Distrotube. All the so-called “Distrotube” gangbang are really distributions of BBC/Distrotube.

Luke Smith reviews 4chin DOT org

Hey, it's me! Your favourite content creator!
So… I recently went to this website called 4chin just to find muh based and redpilled people on there but you know I just cringed like you wouldnt even believe.
Firstly, I went to /g/ and saw some of you shilling my channel on there and posting some lies on mental outlaw being my deepfake since he is cosplaying as me in his recent videos.
But the reality is that I am his deep fake obviously. By the way this board is shilling emacs and I will never ever use emacs. The linux users on there are so cringe,
they are your average plebbitor who just wants upcummies for his based desktop. Moreover, every thread I visited just lead to nothing uh. So I think these people are just some NEETs who lurk all the day on the net and are trying to spend their day in the most sissyphus-like way possible. Yeah, 4chin is just a projection of today's society without most of the censorship. I mean janitors are still cleaning up the chan for free obviously. It consists of misguided people who dont know what to do with their lives. But this is also the same matter with normies. They are miserable. They would rather listen for advice to some degenerate like Andrew Tate than to their own parents. 4chin is just the mirror of today's miserable society. I mean it's quite funny. If the anons would just shill me more on /g/ I would become the "top /g/". Maybe some zoomers would listen to me then.
But nevermind, I am sick of 4chin and I will never gonna use it again. It is full of losers and people who didnt accomplish anything in life.
The only non cringe people who have accomplished anything in real life are land chads who have their own websites. I have made some videos on that. You can check them out if you want to or you can just watch another video on YouTube. I dont really care. Yeah, my message for you today is just to stop lurking on 4chin and become a real-life-maxxie instead. I'm ending this video.

X.Org Hit By New Security Vulnerabilities - Two Date Back To 1988 With X11R2

It was a decade ago that a security researcher commented on X.Org Server security being even "worse than it looks" and that the GLX code for example was "80,000 lines of sheer terror" and hundreds of bugs being uncovered throughout the codebase. In 2023 new X.Org security vulnerabilities continue to be uncovered, two of which were made public today and date back to X11R2 code from the year 1988.

Made public today was CVE-2023-43785 as an out-of-bounds memory access within the libX11 code that has been around since 1996. A second libX11 flaw is stack exhaustion from infinite recursion within the PutSubImage() function of libX11… This vulnerability has been around since X11R2 in February of 1988.

Vulnerabilities since 1988…

A third libX11 vulnerability made public today is an integer overflow within XCreateImage() that leads to a heap overflow… That too has been around since X11R2 in 1988.

Two libXpm vulnerabilities were also disclosed today related to out-of-bounds reads and both of those date back to 1998.

Due to these issues coming to light, libX11 1.8.7 and libXpm 3.5.17 were released today with the necessary security fixes. More details on these latest X.Org security vulnerabilities via today's X.Org security advisory.

Any suggestions on attempting to install Windows 2000 onto a Toshiba Satellite L305? Install from USB is FAIL, install from CD works partly but makes drive unbootable (only installs an NT folder).

Why are the HURD (and GNU in general, excluding Red Hat who develops the actually useful software like GCC and glibc) developers so incompetent? The OS has been in development since the 90s and the OS is still unusable for the average user. To put into prespective, since 1990, Apple has transitioned from the Motorola 68000, to PowerPC, to x86, and now to their own silicon. Microsoft has released Windows 3.0, 3.1, NT, 95, 98, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, and 11. Linux was invented two years later and now is the largest internet server operating system. Meanwhile HURD is chugging along with its "revolutionary" Mach microkernel design (still get a 10% penalty because of it, c.f. to newer microkernels like L4). Even Minix is seeing success in the ME.

TRVTHNUKE TIME

iPhone:
>great build quality
>awesome battery life
>only needs 3 cameras to produce the best looking photos taken on a phone
>will get updates for at least 5 years
>easy to use pretty-looking OS that doesn't get in your way
>uses cutting edge NVMe storage
>used by White engineers and scientists
>has the best privacy you can get on a phone
Lagdroid:
>terrible build quality, phones usually made of plastic or pot metal
>3 hour battery life despite the battery being 5,000 mAh on most phones
>needs six gorillion cameras just to get a mediocre photo
>will get updates for maybe 2 years at best
>ugly buggy OS that lags and crashes every 5 seconds
>either uses a fucking SD card (eMMC) as storage or some weird UFS shit that nobody's ever heard of
>used by niggers, crack addicts, pajeets, Ronnie McNutt, and other lower forms of life
>terrible privacy, everything you do gets sent to jewgle pajeets

Any questions?

New redpill study dropped

https://www.uea.ac.uk/news/-/article/british-sex-lives-revealed-in-new-study

Before the study, researchers had assumed that past a certain age, say 40 to 65, everyone stops being sexually active.

Turns out that gay men in the UK continue to have multiple partners every week past age 70
