Limitations imposed by Incompleteness Theorem prevents AGI from ever existing, anyone who says otherwise is peddling hype and probably wants to steal and mal-invest your money. AI will never be anything more than another tool - only as good as the user.
The fact that it has come to this illustrates to me how atheistic society has become. For any half-decent Christian everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is irreducibly human, even God is irreducibly human to an extent, and therefore so is mathematics and the way we use it.
But what does that mean for us personally? I like to put it like this: the historic norm when new technology is introduced isn't mass-unemployment so much as the economy becoming even more complex.
