The fact that it has come to this illustrates to me how atheistic society has become. For any half-decent Christian everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is irreducibly human, even God is irreducibly human to an extent, and therefore so is mathematics and the way we use it.
But what does that mean for us personally? I like to put it like this: the historic norm when new technology is introduced isn't mass-unemployment so much as the economy becoming even more complex.
