russian communism goes deeper than that
first it was the tsars. people werent happy under them.
to give you an idea of the level of poverty of russia in general, they didnt have enough shoes for the army in ww1, let alone rifles.
then after the tsars were gone, there was the pogroms, and purges
the commushits controlled the perception of the people
so the generations that came after were exposed to biased, heavily redacted history.
